Kimberly A. Lloyd is President/CEO of Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation (OARC), a Not-For-Profit, 501(c)3 community development corporation whose mission is to create and stimulate sustainable economic development through innovative and creative use of available resources, while improving the quality of life for residents in the Northwest section of Philadelphia.    Kimberly is also the President of seven For-Profit affiliated companies that has various components of Economic Development of Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Property Management and Community Engagement.

 

As a former Banker with over 35 years of professional experience, Kimberly has an extensive knowledge of Finance, Commercial Real Estate Development, Property Management and Strategic Planning. Prior to assuming the position at OARC, Kimberly’s vast resume includes positions held such as: Vice President/Mortgage Banker for GMAC Commercial Mortgage/Capmark Finance where as a national production officer she financed over $90 million in affordable housing loans across the country using HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan products to create moderate housing communities; as Vice President of Commercial Lending at City National Bank a mid-regional bank, Kimberly wanted to offer her skills to finance organizations and individuals in the tristate area and particularly Philadelphia, she was able to accomplish this by qualifying the Bank to be on the list as City of Philadelphia Depositor, financing Multifamily Apartments, completing the Bank’s first New Market Tax Credit Project and small tier business loans that allowed existing entrepreneurs to finance their businesses.  She also worked with numerous aspiring entrepreneurs in financing their Business Plans; As a Underwriter for Fannie Mae Corporation, Kimberly underwrote numerous Moderate, Affordable and Low Income Housing Projects that filled a need that continues to this day.   The underwriting allowed over 10,000 apartments to be covered under the Fannie Mae guarantee. As Asset Manager with The Michaels Organization which has developed affordable rental and mixed-income housing tax credits she helped to refinance over $70 million in Michaels Real Estate Portfolio. As Managing Partner/Chief Financial Officer of The KAL Group, LLC, a boutique consulting firm specializing in Commercial Real Estate Development, Project Management and HUD Senior Housing 202, 221D4 and 223F loan programs, she has helped Not-for- Profit and For-Profit organizations refinance multifamily projects to secure development fees for the not-for-profit and complete capital improvements to the real estate.  As Real Estate Analyst with Philadelphia Savings Fund Society (PSFS) she completed Loan Workouts that were in either Foreclosure/Bankruptcy status for preparation of putting the real estate on the market for sale.

 

Kimberly is active and engaged in many activities; Board Member and past Chairman, Board of Trustees for Lincoln University, Member Pennsylvania Society and Audit Advisor for The Delta Research and Educational Foundation. She is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she was appointed by the National President to become a Member of the National Strategic Planning Committee and National Investment Committee.   As a member of The Links, Incorporated she previously served as Vice President, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee and Chair/Ambassador for Vision 2020 for the Delaware Valley (PA) Chapter.  She is a graduate of Lincoln University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and The Pennsylvania State University with a M.S. in Management/Organizational Administration.  Kimberly is also a member of The Pennsylvania State Alumni Association, as well as a Life Member of The Lincoln University Alumni Association, and has received recognition from the University by way of the President’s Award for Outstanding Contributions, Legacy Club, and President’s Gold Club.   Kimberly has also received numerous awards for her tireless service and dedication as a community leader/volunteer and is proud that the academic scholarship that bears her name at Lincoln University has afforded numerous students the opportunity to matriculate and remain at the institution.
